Gentle, family-friendly assessment for all ages
From infants as young as four to six months, through toddlers, school-age children and teenagers, Douglas offers a gentle, reassuring approach for the whole family. Every assessment is non-invasive and needle-free, with warm, parent-friendly explanations at each step — and, for little ones, short sessions and a calm environment to help them settle.
A calm, gentle experience for children of all ages
At The Food Intolerance Clinic we are highly experienced with children of all ages. The process is non-invasive, comfortable and age-appropriate: there are no needles, no blood tests and no drugs. Sessions are kept short for younger children, and we make the visit as relaxed and reassuring as possible for both child and parent.

Concerns we are often asked about
- Infants: eczema, reflux, unsettled sleep, recurring infections and breastfeeding-related reactions
- Toddlers: eczema, asthma, hayfever, glue ear, sinus, hives, rashes and tummy aches
- Recurring ear, nose and throat infections and antibiotic overload
- Skin, digestion, sinus, behaviour and immune concerns
Support through the teenage years
The teenage years bring hormonal shifts and new pressures. Food and environmental triggers can play a part in acne, eczema and asthma, allergies, poor concentration, low energy and digestive troubles. A gentle assessment can help teenagers feel their best — whether they are managing ongoing symptoms, preparing for exams, or wanting to perform at their peak in sport.

A whole-family approach to food and health
Douglas believes good nutrition works best alongside your family’s medical care — as a complement, never a replacement. Every plan is practical and realistic, designed to fit into busy family life so healthy changes are easy to keep up.
